On Sunday, July 13 AARCS volunteers joined forces with Pound Rescue from Okotoks on a trip to First Nation communities in Southern Alberta. Pound Rescue was busy organizing for a spay/neuter clinic they are holding later in the week and we tagged along to help out. We also made a stop at the Cardston Pound as we had been informed that they had some pups in their possession that needed to re homed as their time had "expired". Making the trip home with us were two gorgeous Cattle Dog puppies, both males. The story from the pound was that they were strays wandering around and were picked up, not a lot of background info.
