Little Bear's Story

Little Bear is a malamute cross puppy, about 4 months old and full of bounce. She has one blue eye and one brown eye, very fluffy coat and a great personality. She was rescued by our very dedicated volunteer, from a First Nations community way out west! The little one was not wanted anymore, so our volunteer in that community called us to come and rescue her, along with Ozi.

Update, May 19th, 2006,

This sweet little one is again available for adoption. The family that has cared for her has suffered a major setback and as sometimes happens, Little Bear has no forever family anymore.

UPDATE, June 5, 2006

Little Bear is now being fostered in Sylvan Lake. She is a very beautiful collie/husky cross and is now 7 months old. She is learning about all sorts of things and is settling well. LIttle Bear is gentle and playful, and will need patience and love while she learns her basic training lessons.
