Midas's Story
On July 3 rd, 2008, the AARCS crew headed back out to return three female dogs we had spayed for their owners. Wolfy, Lady & Max were spayed at Trochu Valley Vet Clinic by Dr. Abid. They were also vaccinated and de-wormed. A big Thank You Dr. Abid for donating his time, supplies to spay/vaccinate these three females. Both Max and Lady are young females who will never have to have a litter of unwanted puppies and Wolfy can be just a dog and not worry about being a mom anymore! On our way off the reserve we stopped in at home where we often frequent as the family helps to distribute food to other families. When we arrived we noticed two new little faces. The family informed us that the two puppies followed them home one day. They had been caring for them, but because the family already has four dogs they asked if we could take them and find them nice homes. We happily packed up these two little stray boys(Midas and Murphy)into the truck and headed to our next rescue, China and her 6 babies.
