Mitzy's Story
Mitzy was surrendered to AARCS about 3 months ago. Her former "gramma"
who asked us to take her, explained that Mitzy's owner had left for
the bright city lights and left Mitzy behind. There are lots of grandchildren
living in the home, as well as a few adults making space rather tight!
Because Mitzy is an 11 lb Malti-poo, she was at risk if she went outside
because of the number of large dogs who look at small dogs as lunch.
Thus, Mitzy came to us and we were glad to have her! She was originally
destined for a permanent home in Medicine Hat but cold weather and nasty
roads made that impossible and the family lost interest in having her,
having decided to help some other needy dogs. All in all, a good thing!
Mitzy is finally house trained, and doing very well on leash. She is
asking to go outside and seldom makes a "mistake". She loves
children and most adults! She is having a hair cut right now and will
need regular grooming because of her "poodleness". She sheds
very little.
Update 02
May 2007 Mitzy has been adopted
