Ozi

Ozi's Story

Ozi was rescued by a very kind lady in the First Nations comunity out west. She sheltered Ozi until a foster placement became available and a transport could be arranged. One of our dedicated foster parents drove for three hours to take her into safety.

Ozi is a friendly pup, healthy and happy. Her coat and her eyes shine and she gets along well with other dogs.

Happy Ending Story

She began life at AARCS as "Oswald". It was too cold the day of her rescue to check gender. All stops were pulled out as our volunteer raced her to the Sylvan Lake Vet Clinic for her health check and vaccination. After she left the Vet Clinic she became Ozi while she was in foster care.

Then the magic happened for this little sweetheart! She was chosen to be part of a wonderful family who wanted to expand to include her. She has a new "mom and dad", and a wonderful big "brother", and two kitties, a large fenced yard, and above all, lots of tender loving care. Her name was changed to Zoro. Zora has been spayed as you might be able to see by the bare dark spot on her tummy. Thank you to Zora's new family - you are amazing!
