Story

Charity, Hope and Faith are three sisters rescued from the reserve. They were unwanted puppies and are now very happy little girls in their foster homes.

Update Aug 22, 2009

From Hope's foster mom:
Hope loves walks and is very good at the off leash park. She keeps a close eye on who ever is with her. She love people and my other 2 dogs. She is working very hard on her "off" as she likes to greet you by jumping all over. She sits very nicely for treats!

Update Sep 16, 2009

Hope is getting quite big and loves to play with the other dogs in the yard. She is working very hard on her house training and has only had a few acidents. She is fully kennel trained and sleeps in there all night and during the day. She has mastered "sit" and is working very hard on "down". She is a very loving girl and would cuddle on your lap all day if you let her!

Update Oct 2, 2009

Hope has become so affectionate. She loves to be around people and would love nothing more than to sit on your lap (if you let her). She is working very hard on her leash walking skills - she does excellent off leash at the dog park and never wanders to far. She is kennel trained and sleeps in there at night and during the day. She loves her family and would do great in a high energy household with or without kids.

Update Dec 7, 2009

We have been informed by Hope's foster family that she is not getting along well with the other dog in the home so we think Hope may be better off with a family that she is the only dog. We are currently working with her on this and hopefully we have a better update in the future so she can be adopted by any family that is interested in her.
She's an absolutely beautiful dog that needs some training and obedience classes...

Hello Ladies! Well Hope/Dakota wants to share her progress with everyone.

So every day I am getting better with some serious practicing of my manners and obedience cues! I am in a foster home right now that has three other dogs for me to play with! OH OH and this fat black cat! At first I was really excited about the kitty, and tried to play with him a little rough, he let me know when to stop and I did! I rolled on my side to let him know that I wasn't going to hurt him, now we are buddies! I have had a busy week meeting other dogs and playing with them! I am actually a little shy with dogs that are bigger than me, but I come around really fast once a get to have a proper introduction. We even hosted a big sleep over with some out of town dog friends, in total there was 7 dogs here! We all ate together and slept quietly (well most of us did, King SNORES), and when we played we all got along just fine!

My foster mom thinks that I will be a perfect addition to a home where there is another dog that is either the same size as me or even bigger. Also that I should have an experienced owner that is knowledgeble in dog body language.

Dakota/Hope is a very loving, happy, smart girl. She has not shown any signs of aggression towards our three dogs or any of our friends dogs. She actually has been submissive with dogs that are bigger than her. Dakota will excell in a home with lots of time and patience to continue on socializing her with other dogs. She is fully house trained and crate trained, she is so happy when we come home from work and rarely will jump up. She stays off the furniture and due to her past issues I would suggest that she continue this training plan.
