Story

Hi story readers, were are the kids from Charlotte's web, Wilbur, Fern, Avery, Arabel and Bitsy...actually in this story Charlotte is our Mom. She was a wonderful first time Mom. We were born in a hole in the grown that Mom made so we would be safe from predators, it was covered with fallen trees and that keep us warm. We stayed 'underground' for it seemed like a long time, it was so dark, oh right our eyes don't open for a couple of weeks, several times a day Mom would come and feed us, and boy we were always hungry, I felt bad for Mom because each time she came she seemed sad, while we fed she told us that she had been out looking for food herself and couldn't find much and was really hungry too.A few weeks passed then finally one day we could see the 'light at the end of the tunnel' we would venture out, my there were lots of other dogs around. Then one day as we were tearing around the neighborhood we heard a vehicle come in, Mom had told us about this and to be careful as they could be dangerous, so we stayed close to the den. We heard the humans talking, 'you can take the puppies we don't have food to feed them" at first we were all scared because we had had little contact with humans and now they are going to take us away and would never see Mom again. We were gently loaded into a kennel, didn't know where were we going but it sounded like a good place, but what about Mom, then all of a sudden we heard them say 'take the Mother dog too,' right on , we tried to jump for joy but doing this in a kennel just doesn't work. We watched from the holes in the kennel as they loaded Mom (Charlotte) into the car, she looked scared but we could tell she was glad we were right beside her, Mom was great on the ride out, laid quietly on the seat.
Well for the last while we've been living with Church and his dog family, having a great time, Mom is finally smiling, looks forward to her daily run and is hungry no longer...soon she will be ready for adoption, but right now the kids from "Charlotte's web" are ready to go to a forever home, come on over and see us, we'd be delighted to see you also. |Merry Christmas to All.
