Story

Hello everyone my name is Caramel. I was surrendered to AARCS from a very wonderful lady who knew she didn't have the means to care for me, my 2 sisters and my mom! My Mom has since been Spayed and therefore will not be having any more kitties!!
Me on the other hand will have my Surgery on Friday, February 5, 2010.
When my sisters and I were first brought to my foster Mom's house we were VERY VERY timid and would just go limp if anyone tried to touch us.... We would get close enough as long as there was food as a reward. Since then Mom has worked really hard at making us trust her and although we still sometimes run away we still like to be in the same room as Mom and sometimes she has to be sneaky in order to pet us BUT when she does we realize how great it is and start to purr!
Mom says that I'm an absolute cutie and that I have the most adorable face... I agree, hehe.
I really like my soft food and I don't let the other cats in the house scare me! I do like to hide under Mom's bed and will probably need a home that won't be upset if it takes me a while before I become just a regular snuggly kitty but Mom says she's confident that I will get there!
I'm not frightened by loud noises or startled by really anything BUT I still only like to get pets when I want them...
Mom will be dropping all 3 of us at the vet office on Friday morning for our surgeries and then she will be bringing us home the same day! Can you believe it, we don't even have to stay in that dingy vet office over night! We get to come home and sleep nice and sound in our own beds!!
I can hardly wait to find my forever home and hope that I will make a great fit in your home! If I sound like the purrrrfect kitty for you fill out an application form and you can come and meet me BUT remember that I may not be that typical cuddly kitty at first and it may take some time in my new home before I really come out of my shell!
