Story
Hello everyone my name is Coconut... I am the MOST adventurous out of me and my 2 sisters! I like to look at everything and I was the first one to come out of my shell and actually let these 'HUMANS' give me pets...now I enjoy my days relaxing on my cat tree, playing with my sister and getting pets from my foster mom.
If I sound like a kitty that would be good in your home please fill out an application form so you can come and meet me! I am like my sisters though in that I would need a family that wouldn't be offended if I am a little stand offish at first but Mom says that once I warm up to you it feels so rewarding!
TO ADOPT ON OF AARCS KITTIES PLEASE E-MAIL ADOPTIONS@ALBERTAANIMALRESCUECREW.COM AND ASK FOR OUR CAT APPLICATION FORM. THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN OUR KITTIES!
Update Feb 12, 2010
Hello everyone... I just figured I would give you an update on how amazing I'm doing!! I got my spayed surgery a couple of days ago and now I am so good that I don't run away when mom goes to give me pets and I even sleep on the bed with her all night long!! I still have a little hissy fit (literally) when it comes to my 4 foster brothers and sisters but usually that's only if they startle me!
Mom says that I'm going to make the perfect pet for someone one day!
Mom tells me that she's happy to have me with her as long as I need because she thinks I'm just absolutely fantastic!! She LOVES giving me pets and hearing me purr because it's just so rewarding knowing I was once so timid and now I am comfortable!
Anyways I just figured I would give you an update for me and if you are interested in meeting me give the adoption coordinator an e-mail!!
By the way my sister Caramel A.K.A. Beans is going to her forever home next weekend!! They have already named her Beans because their current kitties name is Frank so they have their pair now... Frank and Beans!! I'm so excited for Caramel and just know she will bring lots of joy to her new home!!
Update Mar 4, 2010
I noticed that Caramel's sisters are still for adoption. I just wanted to tell
anyone interested in these girls that we adopted Caramel (re-named her Beans) and we
couldn't be happier with her! She was shy for a couple of days, but has totally come
into her own. She loves to cuddle and purrs like crazy. She is affection, but not
overly and has an adventurous side to her. She also has the cutest little squeak for
a meow and goes crazy for the laser pointer. She is much smaller than our other cat,
Frankie. We call them Franks n' Beans! She has never tried to scratch or bite us,
even when she is scared. She is also so unique looking and think her sister are
beautiful too! We encourage anyone looking for a cat to check out these girls! They
won't disappoint you!
Sincerely,
Bean's New Forever Family
Update Mar 7, 2010
Coconut has made a 360 turn in the last month!!! She now sleeps with me every night and LOVES to get pets and purrs like no bodies business!!! I have fallen in love with both her and her sister and would keep them if I didn't already have 4 in my home, hehe.
Coconut is a little dare devil! She also can be a bit of a trouble maker because she's soooo adventurous BUT that's the reason why she's so darn cute!!! She LOVES to play with her toys but always makes time to cuddle at bed time! She never runs away when we go to pet her anymore and instead of running under the bed she jumps on the bed and welcomes pets with open paws!!
Coconut would make a perfect addition to any family and she's so beautiful and so unique that I can't imagine anyone not wanting her to join their home!!!
If you are interested in Coconut please e-mail adoptions@albertaanimalrescuecrew.com and ask for the cat adoption application form!!!
Update May 29, 2010
Hello everyone!
My name is Coconut or Cokernut or Cokers... My foster mom seems to have a lot of names for me!
I CAN NOT believe how long I have been in foster care! ME!! COCONUT!!!
That must be because you haven't met me... I'm the BEST darn cat in the WHOLE WIDE WORLD, at least my foster mom and I think so, hehe.
I run the house, I am not scared of ANYTHING... I'm the only cat out of the 5 in the house that hangs out with the dogs! I have a problem with one of the other cats but that's because she was mean to me and my sisters when we first came to the house but I play with all the rest of them... I'm the baby in the house (not even 1 years olds!) so I'm definitely the most outgoing!
I LOVE to cuddle with my foster parents and I squeek and cry everytime I get pets.. that's how I tell my foster parents how much I LOVE it!!
If I sound like I would be the purrrfect kitty for your home please contact our adoption coordinator for an application form!
