Story
For us every day has been a good day since we were rescued. Before that day, every day was a bad day. We were born on a First Nation Community and when rescued we were living in a red dodge caravan, the sliding door was open enough for us to get in and out to see our Mom and feed. The van was parked in the side yard, had no seats and was half full of stuff, the stuff for us was like having doggie toys but it was no doggie toys for sure. We had a wonderful Mom, she had many litters of puppies and one day she just stopped feeding us, we didn’t understand because we were only puppies. The people at the house where we lived tried to give us food and milk, but we really missed our Mom and could not understand why she would not let us come to her. The good folks at AARCS explained that Mom was tired of having babies and her life was a bad day everyday too. We were so lucky to be rescued and hope Mom will be spayed as not to have any more puppies and then we know she will be able to get stronger.
We are strong and healthy thanks to our Foster Dad Church and now he’s gone on vacation and we have new a new foster family, we will never forget what Church did for us, feeding us with a syringe and wrapping us in blankets to be safe and warm.
