Sierra's story
We were told that Boston and Cheyenne
had two siblings who eluded being rescued. Thus, two volunteers set
off Sat July 29th, for the First Nations Community after having made
arrangements to pick up the pups.
We arrived, were met, and one litle blonde puppy was brought to us.
We searched high and low through the bush, and under buildings, but
could not locate the little boy. He is missing and presumed dead as
feral dogs were heard in the night.
Sierra travelled well, cuddled and snuggled all the way to Red Deer
where she is joining her siblings.
She is the smallest of the three puppies, but has lots of tail wags
and energy!
She will be de-wormed tonight then vet checked at the Sylvan Lake Vet
Clinic, next week. The puppies are too young for vaccinations.
For
further information please call Melanie at 403-887-2925.
Thanks to all who participated in this rescue!
